MORE British Heavy Dragoons Waterloo 1815

Hi

My Nappy Cavalry project has come on a long way this year. With the release of the new British Heavy Dragoons by Waterloo 1815, I had to add them to the project. This is the 8th regiment I've painted for this project.

Enough has perhaps already been said about the quality of the set in a previous post,

...so I'll let the photos do most of the talking. I've painted the set as the 1st Royal Dragoons, part of the Union Brigade at Waterloo. As these were supposed to ride on dark bay horses, I've taken this very literally and mounted them all on dark bays.

Inspired by your excellent results I have bought this set, and have added these to my HaT regiments. I had two regts, so have utilised the four command figures in the units, and have started the two wounded to use as casualty markers, putting these on separate bases. I game with my figures, using Black Powder, so casualty markers are useful.

Anyway, back to your figures. Love 'em. I have been following your blog and have enjoyed seeing all your cavalry regiments. Keep it up. I am waiting to see you French chaseurs a cheval of the Inperial Guard (hint hint)

Glad my nappy cavalry are meeting with your approval, Marc! You should share some pics of your dragoons on this forum when they're done.

A few more regiments still to go (currently working on some cossacks) and then a final end of year review. However, at this stage, I can only state that the final inclusion of the Chasseurs a Cheval of the Guard is just a rumour...
