In a certain manner, 1/72 machine-gun ammunition belts are an extremely useful item, preventing the ridiculous appearance of gunners in fighting poses but provided by manufacturers without ammo or improving the look of any vehicle armed with machine-guns. For a extended review, accompanied by images featuring various examples of uses as well of the outstanding photo-etched set “7.62 (.30) machine-gun belts” from OKB Grigorov, please visit the below link:

What a cool product! Thanks for the review and model examples. How would you represent the grey strip that emerges from the right of the machine gun as the ammunition belt is used up? I think cut bits of very thin copper wire would make pretty good shell casings. The casings are ejected straight down from in front of the trigger area if the film clips of live-fire demonstrations I have seen are accurate.

Awesome new product. Adds great Fidelity of Detail to small scale scenes. Thanks for the review. And, as always, terrific figures displaying the ammo belts.
