Valor et discipline! My French napoleonic army (1st episode)

Posted by Mr. Andrea on 05 Nov 2015, 16:10

Time to show what my lonely Togolese nights are producing. My first 32 French line infantrymen from the Hät box 'French line infantry 1808-1812'. I am in nappy frenzy! Cannot stop! New figures will come soon.

I didn't think of it, and now you scared me. Temperature is raising, we'll reach top in Feb. Better I save some space in the fridge, seriously

Nice crisp details, and the shading on the overalls is terrific. Great job!

Exactly.

These are terrific. After seeing these figures, I'm hoping you're in Togo for a very long time to come yet...

Great work as allways, Andrea. White trousers, golden buttons, everything is really great. I am looking for more, next time.

Great work, man. Looks as if I have to go to Togo in order to find enough time for painting huge armies...

They have come up looking very nice indeed. It would be interesting to see a painting tutorial on your blog if you fancied doing one.

I have these figures, but never got around to painting them as they looked a bit "stocky" - but your painting has opened my eyes to these and how good they can look.

Bravo
