Hello!

My latest addition to my Vienna 1683 series of dioramas, this time covering the topic trenches and mines.

Hope you like it. Any comments are welcome.

Greetings from Austria

Great...How did you make base on the places where trench is covered with black?

Quite easy.

The base consists of an old defective CD, a layer of styrofoam (ca. 1 cm) and than another old defective CD on it. This gives relative strength to the base. Then I put a PVC skirting board (hope this is the correct term, it is normally used in kitchens between the floor and the furniture) around. Then with some styrofoam and plaster create the layout. Finally cut off the excessive skirting board. That's all.

The fencing is made of toothpicks and old rigging thread.

The cannonball is from an old ink cartridge of a pen.

Most of the soil is made of coffee powder.

Great Work! The only thing i would suggest is to put a tiny space between your photo`s for a greater impact to the eyes that view them. Respectfully BB

Really awesome work there. I really like how you've done the trenches as they feel very real. :yeah: :yeah:

I can only repeat what I said already in a PM: Very nice work, the atmosphere is captured beautifully and convincingly! I like especially those pics were the camera angle gives you the impression of standing right there in the trench.
