SCW Nationalist Cavalry

Posted by despertaferro on 30 Jan 2016, 10:37

Hi,

Another SCW set, this time the Nationalist Cavalry.

Once again, metal figures produced by Minairons. The horses comes in two separate halves (I must confess that I was a little sceptic with this system) but I think the final effect is quite good. In my opinion, some of the best metal horses I ever had in my hands.

I hope you like them and many thanks for your time!

These excellent figures and bases show us how diorama building and gaming can go hand in hand. Too often we see gaming bases looking ridiculously thick and heavy, polluting the overall impression of the models themselves and the gaming landscape as a whole, while there is absolutely no need for it. Despertaferro, you show us what can be achieved to get the best out of both. My compliments.

Many thanks for watching and your nice comments.

Mr. Cryns, I’ve been following your work since your earlier posts in Hat’s website and I must tell you that I’m a great fan of your painting and your amazing and creative basing system. Your bases display a piece of real life, not just an alignment of figures, and that’s what I’m trying to achieve.
Sadly, far from reaching the enormous complexity and sophistication of your fantastic works.
