Yummy, one of Zvezda sets that I want but still don't have.
They're nicely and neatly painted. But some wash might help them to look more realistic.
That is just my opinion and suggestion. They look good already.

Hi.
The figures are well painted, it can be seen as you've got paint all the details,
but I think as the companion KEKSO, with a wash and dry brush, would gain relief.
but they are very good, I like

Thank you, yet I have never used shading, perhaps it sometimes empowered. All my pieces are in this style.

Good Streletses! Accurate and pure painting!

Some advices about historical piece :-) Streltsy of the one regiment had unicolorous caps, because coour of the caps was one of the main regimental signs. Painting of your Strelets's flag correspond to the flag of Fedor Aleksandrov's Strelets regiment. Streletses of that regiment should have blue or dark blue caps.

Lukino--

It is a lot of work that you did and the colors are very bright. One color per area with no shading or highlights is quite a basic technique. It's not hard to add those aspects and it will improve dramatically the look of the figures. Also, you have put the paint on thickly, and therefore inadvertantly obscured some of the fine details of those fabulous Zvezda sculpts. Keep painting and keep learning from the masters on this forum, and your work will continue to get better.

Thanks for posting. This is a great set, along with some of the other Great Northern War Russian and Swedish sets from Zvezda. I did not recognize the paint tubes in your pic. If they are acrylic then perhaps you could thin the paint a little more. Did you prime them in white? I'm guessing from the color of the bases.

Some colors are acrylic and some emails Revell. Mainly to use acrylic paint and duck fabric sewing, I'm more satisfied with the outcome.
