Good to see that you are still working on the Airfix project. Nice paintjob. But the final US Cavalry set had to be produced in my eyes...

superb, the best painting I have ever seen of these guys, you have bought them to life, well done. The definitive set was probably made by Airfix in 1/32 I have wished all my adult life that they would make it in 1/72.

Beautiful painting. Even more impressive is getting all the horses to remain upright long enough for the photos!

The riders are glued to the saddle and the horses to thier bases using Pattex Ultra gel..I even dropped one (already painted  ) and both the rider and the base stayed together.

The US Cavalry! So many memories...
Mine were bought around 1969, they are in existence, minus one that disappeared, and were painted in 2010. A poor paintjob compared to your excellent work. They are still fighting valiantly on my table top. Just 2 weeks ago they fought and won another battle.
The men are glued to the horses and I soldiered the hoofs to the bases long ago. That is still OK for most of them. The rest I regularly glue with UHU to the bases (as I do to my french cuirassiers).
I would buy another box if they were reissued...
Keep up with your Airfix project, please.
Regards.

Oooh, this is really a total favourite from the childhood! Great work with bases and horses and riders! And the painting is your usual high standard!
