Fantastic painting of these lovely troops. The only problem is that two of the crew are about to be impaled/ crushed by the recoil caused by the port fire chap's enthusiasm to discharge the piece!

Nevertheless, as stated beautiful artistry in action.

Great work as always. Your scene captures lots of action or as said, "very dynamic". I too am concerned about the crew members who will be caught in the blast. Where most sets just come with multiples of the same four posses, with all Zvezda sets I try to do one gun about to fire and one in the process of being loaded.

Thanks to you all for the appeciation, correction and advices, and especially to Chris and davbenbak1 !

I must admit that this is indeed a mistake. I based the whole group in 2011 and have left it unpainted since then. I had made no consideration at all of what each figure was meant to be doing. Now I have not only learned that I was wrong, but have also learned what should be like in the correct circumstance, thanks to your comments. BTW, I have also realised that the 2 loaders may also be too close to the muzzle to keep away from any fire and shock.

I'll pay attention to these problems in the future. Hats off to you, gents.

Indeed, Dav. It seems to me that 4 figures per gun is a common way of basing in wargames. But more crews will surely get the piece a better look. I'll spend the extra figures in making seperate vignettes (limbers, observers, ammunition carriers, etc) as accessories, just to build up the whole atmosphere surrounding the roaring artilleries.
