A tribute to ALEXANDER GUSSEV

Posted by Konrad on 04 Aug 2016, 18:40

I am a member of this forum since Oct 2007.
At this time, the first figs of Alex appeared on the market .
At that time he was working for VALDEMAR MINIATURES .

I have painted most of them .
Unfortunately, the figures in Germany
were so expensive that I was no longer willing
to pay these prices .

I started to create an archive of the photos of my figs.
All these figures I posted in the forum years ago.
Unfortunately, you can not see the images , because ImageShack
does no longer exists or whatever .
So i made new pics.
It may be that not every fig and every horse is original by Alex .
I beg your indulgence.

These pictures are dedicated to my friend Alex .
A tribute to the good human and the great artist .
And one of the greatest supporter of our hobby.

Very nice paint. :yeah:
What me really shock is if your first figures are from 2007 I can`t see any improvement.
Your knights are from the start are well done.

@Alex- Well good artist deserve a good phrase... A guy who told me about the forum said ,,Alex is a real artist...''
And what can a beginner like me to do than to go to forum where there is a bunch of talented artists to learn things from them... And to feast my eyes on dioramas, and figures and so on and on... If miniatures and dioramas are food for eyes and soul, than this forum is ,,All you can eat buffet...''

@Alex- Also you know what they said for Pink Floyd...If they only recorded their first song, they still would be famous... So if you only have sculpted one of your figures way you do, you would be still great artist... But so many figures in that speed, that is amazing...And inspiring...
