Nice, muddy work. That's a great technique for getting the track to sag.

In the past years I see so many crew conversions of Stug III of the final battles.
From my side I see no trouble.
That you mix Esci (1/72) and Airfix (1/76) is not a problem I think.
There are so many dimensions faults of 1/72 and 1/76 in this past time kit.
It is nearly impossible to build with that stuff a 100% accurate replica.
And these rubber track from Airfix do not make it easier.
You choose the best way as I do with these kind of rubber band. Let the vehicle drive in a muddy area.
That you improve the back with bits is nice as I see in at a lot of Fotos.
I like that you use these guy from Esci. I use him till today five times. Nicely done from Esci and well paint from your side. :-D

Maybe. I really like StuG´s,. 30 plus years ago I had about 20 of them, along with 6 Pkw Mk VI, 3 Sd.Kfz. 182, 10 Pkw Mk IV´s, dozens of sdkfz´s (all variants) and a Tonnage of other tanks and artillery..nearly all wrecked and mostly in the landfill now. :(

This made choosing a final look nearly impossible..so many different variations with Crews adding bits.
If time allows I´ll make another..but not Airfix . The only good Thing with the Airfix kit..open hatch behind the MG. Most other kits are closed
