Welcome to the forum!
From what I can see, your paint stays in the areas where it should be - very colourful and clean. So this is the point where shading and highlighting starts, for which you find many many good examples on this forum.
You should have a look for the postings of Konrad who is by far the most regular poster of Samurai figures around here. ;-)

Edhie, you can always ask anyone here for help or information.
Btw, looking to your last name, can it be that you are from Java or mollucan?

Cheers, Michael

First of all welcome on the forum Edhie!

Nice and clean painting on what I call the most difficult figures to paint. Shading is indeed your next step! ;-)

I am a big fan of Zvezda. No matter which era - the figures are fantastic! You've made a good choice. :-D It is a pleasure to see these figures painted.
I like your painting. Clear and rich colors. A very accurate painting. I find the filigree symbols on the flags remarkable - great !!!! :yeah: Are you planning a diorama for the figures? I'm curious ...

Welcome to the forum.

A lovely contribution.
I like you colorfull painting style.
And special attention to the presentation:

Your base and background is very original.
Not realistic in any sense, but great in its soberness and abstract style.
That is a well made choice.
In fact, your presentation is all in style with the Samurai history:
Laquered wood base (japanese houses) and white paper background (japanese windows)

Photography and lighting are very good and together with the background all attention goes to the figures.

Hi Edhie welcome to the forum. Nice paint job. Are the flagsymbols freehands or do you use decals??

Thank you Peter.
Yes, I'm still learning to master the shading and highlighting. But still can't find the best product. I'm using Vallejo Paints, but the shading doesn't suit me well, or maybe I'm using it wrongly.
