Hi mate I look forward to the finished set hope it's goin well yes I found that the drummers didn't have any lacework I painted mine as the 28th north Gloucestershire light infantry the lights still wore the stovepipe shako at waterloo but i don't think light infantry had drummers I've just finished a set of the revell british infantry I'll post some pictures when I've finished basing them and I'm working on some French infantry in greatcoats at the moment and a couple of metal british standard bearers

Who did you get the metal British standard bearers from? I need some French as well.

I have some from SHQ miniatures and some from newline designs both have a large napoleonic range

How do they compare size wise? Can you mount them on the same stand together? Could you post a pic?

I've used flag bearers from the HaT command set with these figures and have also used the SHQ standard bearers with the HaT Peninsular War British figures before their command set was released. I think all look quite good together (But I use them for wargaming, not dioramas).

I like your work on these figures, too, BTW! Though from a pedants point of view, light troops should have the shoulder wings as well as the green shako tuft, not that anyone's counting ;-)

Ha thanks mate for the advice I did put them a green tuft on but it's very dark I may change it as well as the wings I didn't decide on the unit until I was halfway through you can always learn things on here and that's great,thanks again
