The French foreign legion for the Battle of Bir Hakeim and others fight against Rommel in the desert, it's part of a big wargame project who will include Italians, Afrikakorps, Anzac, 8th army with a lot of vehicules, planes and so on.

There's 125 figures, for more details see my work in progress :-D

Many thanks everybody ! :-D

You're right Kekso, when I take picture I think it's close enough but when posted it's automatically downsized and I realize the subject is somewhat too small, anyway here is some enlargements :

You do it wrong!
You paint more French Foreign Legion soldiers as there in reality was.

If I see at all your Topic it look to me that you paint in one year more figures as I do in all my modelling years.

At birhakeim french soldiers were only 3500 soldiers (legion, tirailleurs senegaleses, french navy men)...
So ADM need paint other soldiers....

Very nice paintwork on these beautiful figures, ADM! I especially like the 75mm guns and their ammunition wagons. It is also inteesting to see colonial troops among your predominantly Foreign Legion figures. Very well done!

Many thanks everybody for all those great comments ! 8)

The figures from guilhem were more easy to paint than the SHQ figures because the details and faces are more neat, but with more work you can't see the difference ! ;-)

The french 75 gun is from Alby miniatures, for those who want to complete their set of Legion you can find it here (ref 1001) :

http://albyminiatures.e-monsite.com/pag ... rance.html

"1001. Canon de 75mm Bir-Hakeim surbaissé des FFL/ FFF dropped A-T gun"

But of course you can replace them by some british or US gun, it work as well for many others battle.
