Thank you very much for watching my figures and taking time to post some comments…
Kekso, I always use a small pocket camera with a very tiny lens to take the photos I post here. This way, I can squeeze the lens between the figures and take these wide angle close ups that I like so much. But, when I was going to photograph these figures, I found the battery was flat; I haven’t the time to charge it, so I switched to my “professional” camera instead. These one has far better quality but, being the prime lenses too big, I had to take the pictures from some distance and with a 30mm. The difference you notice is due to the superior quality of the files, allowing to see more detail on the shadows. Next time I’ll drop the Chroma down a little bit: compared to the painted figures, the pictures skin tone has too much saturated red on it
Huib, Selous Scouts and RLI are coming… but first, some ZANLA/ZIPRA units to match them
Sansovino, their enemies will be ZANLA/ZIPRA guerrillas. The actual president of Zimbabwe, Robert Mugabe, was their leader back on the 70’s… I wasn’t very interested on modern subjects until I found some metal figures from Under Fire Miniatures depicting the Soviet-Afghan war and Rhodesian Bush War; I liked them so much that I delayed some of my main projects to paint them
Many thanks for you comments!
