New diorama pictures …

„shit happen ...“

What a day!!! First a rear-end collision. Front left all bent. Then tank empty. Roles still with last swing to the side and just in a nail. Tire flat! The two soldiers have end of work an hour ago. The lovely ladies waiting at home with the evening meal. BUT what the two do not know is that the replacement canister is empty and the spare tire is not quite OK ...... shit happen! ;-)

The 1/72 scale Dragon kit is £25 to £43 on ebay which is very expensive on ones pocket.

However price aside now,
i Like your Splendid Tiny Dio including Spot the Dog! :thumbup:

Nice idea to do not paint the frame of the lamp.
Funny: I paint these streetlamp also in green too but more dark.
I like the simple but effective border of the small halve bow to distance the flower to the sidestep.
Tools and dog are a welcome nice touch.

Thanks also for pointing out the price on Ebay. Madness that so much money is paid for a finished model. :shock:

The fun is the building and the painting, not the possession of a model! Who should understand that ??????? :eh:

It was too complicated for me, masking the frame of the lamp. :oops:

Now I'm really glad. I think the effect of the metal very beautiful. :-)

Separation of flower beds with the small semicircular arches really existed. Nice that you like it.

You know so, that it in reality no Sd.Kfz. 224 gave. The Sd.Kfz. 222 were good vehicles. However, they came with the war in Russia to their limits. I asked myself what could have been done alternatively with the vehicles. So I came up with the idea of the Sd.Kfz. 224. The 222 should have just overhauled or repaired, a roof armor and a small turret on it ... done. These vehicles would you then can use for securing and policing responsibilities behind the front. Such projects I call 'WW2plus', others call it 'Panzerwaffe 46'.

I am not so a fan of Wehrmacht 46 etc. The pose and the blue can with the chains at your Pionier -Kampfgeher back is -funny- unusual.
The last in row is a real existing vehicle. It is called Kugelpanzer.

I don`t think that this will work like in your small Dio.
In the dirt these small wheel at the back will work like a plow.
Oh I see you think the same abaout these useless thing and want to destroy it with Dynamite. :-D

To your question: In complicated situations the soldiers always get advice from their dog.
The dog is called Albert, and is the reinkanation of A. Einstein. A miracle and it is unbelievable but true. And all this in my Showcase. ;-)

Peter, it's really great that you also take a joke and do not take everything so seriously! In this way we always have something to laugh .... :-D

By the way, if you get a dog as a helper for the office, please make sure that he is not a reinkanation of Laurel and Hardy !!!!! Otherwise there is a big mess ... ;-)

I once read that there were so who tried to bring these models to 1/72 scale, but they seemed rather pricey.

Ben, the vehicle is a conversion from a tank by the manufacturer Dragon. Here is a link for more information:

Roof is cut from 'Evergreen' plastic panels:

Screw heads are punched out of lead foil. Tower is from the 'E25 Jagdpanzer':

Oops, I did not recognize. :oops:

The 'Kampfgeher' is really great (I think you mean the big 'Kampfgeher'). I like him very much. This model is from the manufacturer 'Sharkit'. The great thing about the model is that you can assemble it in a lot of poses. Almost everything is possible. Fantastic! :yeah:

nicely done, also the RSO by the way, sharkit does make some interesting kits, they have a motorcycle type of a plane which I would like to build but no time for it sadly and wrong scale for me, oohwell well done on the 224 as well very possible conversion
