Great outstanding paint job. But it is interesting that this style of painting makes the figure looks like a 2 dimensional one - a little bit. But this is only mho.

Yeah, Udo is a real master. Always have my "mouth-wide-opened" moments, when I see what he is doing with colors, brushes and braille-scale-bods. It's a combination of unlimited talent, knowledge gained by practice and patience.

I am a fan.

Wonderful, unbelievable that it is really a figure in 1/72 - a masterwork!

Not only yours. I'd say it's because of that wall in the background which is, in my opinion, over-highlighted so that on these pictures it somewhat 'melts' with the figure. One of these examples for the original work being always better then photography.

Those colors are something else. I suspect white gets that dirty pretty quickly in real world conditions. Mr. Spreng has captured that concept exceptionally well.

I believe that is because we associate this kind of high quality light&shadow painting immediately (and unconscious) with the centuries old flat figure painting tradition that is not seen very often on 3D figures.

:notworthy:

Udo Spreng I am deeply impressed by your work.
