Hellboy wrote:I am a big fan of Zvezda. No matter which era - the figures are fantastic! You've made a good choice. :-D It is a pleasure to see these figures painted.
I like your painting. Clear and rich colors. A very accurate painting. I find the filigree symbols on the flags remarkable - great !!!! :yeah: Are you planning a diorama for the figures? I'm curious ...

Thanks Hellboy, I love the Zvezda as well. The clan symbol on the flags is a decal from the box. I'm not planning on making diorama yet. These samurai painting is a commissioned works :)

A lovely contribution.
I like you colorfull painting style.
And special attention to the presentation:

Your base and background is very original.
Not realistic in any sense, but great in its soberness and abstract style.
That is a well made choice.
In fact, your presentation is all in style with the Samurai history:
Laquered wood base (japanese houses) and white paper background (japanese windows)

Photography and lighting are very good and together with the background all attention goes to the figures.

Thank you Mr. Cryns for you appreciation, that style is just a coincidence by the way. I just have a piece of wood as the base for my figures, and those samurais are belong to my customer :) I made a photograph before send it to the customer. :)
