Very good painted, indeed.
Mhm. they are waering iron armour but bronze swords? I think they use iron swords - the reason of their technological supremacy? Question.

Elsi first of all my compliments to the sharpness of your single figure pictures: I keep zooming in and in and it still is all very sharp! :yeah:
Your paintingwork is well done as it is allways.

:eh: We could say the opposite too: the armour is probably made of leather and painted grey. If that is the case, Elsi did it perfectly well, I think I see grey, not metallic color. Why Philistines painted leather grey? I have no clue but some modern reconstructions show so. And the iron swords? Weren't the Philistines a bronze age people? Then they should not use much iron at all I think. So again that fits with Elsi's choice of color.

If they are "peleset" people of 1180 BC, of the Medinet Habu battle relief they were bronze age people; i.e. the "Naue II" - type swords, shown on the relief are bronze swords. The armour in this time is not made of iron too.

All swords are made of bronze.
Figures dressed in leather armor.
Shields made of wood covered with leather, and part is made of bronze.
