Looks like this diorama is situated inside one of the round towers of the Ottoman fortress thats re-created in the dio. So: the perfect lokation for such a dio. I like the huge design of all this
Watching that Croatian link it looks like we first see a rough design or an older diorama with figures like toys, covering all of the towerfloor.
Later, when a diorama platform is build, only halve of the room is used and the landscape looks more professional.
Kekso can you explain us, non Croatian speakers, what happened here?
Those horsemen look weird. Like they have used re-dressed WW2 American infantry and put them on cowboy horses. Probably a bigger scale from the first, larger diorama.
These remind me of the masses of plasticine figures Alex made as a boy during the Soviet period.
Is this work in progress or are those faces and hands still green?
On the other hand we see a lot of 'real' Ottoman infantry figures:
Judging by the circular sprue's these must be Eastern European piracy copies.
