Confederate Camp Diorama

This diorama was commissioned by me to use as a display in our shop. It was made by Arley Mitchell and I thought you might like to see it.

From Arley- This 1/72nd scale diorama features. The figures are resin plastic by Germionia. The trees were made using the Scenic Factory tree system. The plants are laser cut paper by Frederius Rex. Woodland Scenics turf, lichen and moss was used for the forest floor. The figure were painted using Vallejo Model Color and acrylic Vallejo washes.

The tree and the landscape is nicely done.
As the painting of the figures too.


They are not in hurry.
The outlook stay and sleep.
A lazy group around the fire get nothing to grill.
Men of the patrol move her way around the tents now for the tenth time without anything happen.

This is definitely not a Arnold Schwarzenegger action movie scene.

Everything is great, scenery, groundwork and painting. Although, that fence could use some staining (IMHO).

Nice to see something so different but simple. I think that there is an atmosphere here and I like the corn.
