Some early works of my AFV-modeling

I've already mentioned it at some places: stenfalk hasn't always sculpted animal figurines. This way was only a new beginning or rather a revival of modeling work in the last year. Formerly i've used plastic model sets to build.

I thought i did not have any photos from this times, but now a few of them have fallen into my hands again. Of course i will show you these. They are from the year 2005, taken with a Nikon Powershot A10, without lightning and with bad lighting. Beginner pics...

But I think they nevertheless are interesting because they show a facette of me you don't know so far.

Often photos from old times don't look really good.

But we are lucky enough to be able to help with this in the form of digital tools. Then the whole thing looks like this:

You build your Tiger, Panther, Sturmtiger very very well.
The lights get cable. Some small bits add here and there at all cats.
All pic are nice as the b/w ones.


Around the same time I build the Panther and Tiger from Revell too.
Man! What fantastic kits these was at that time in comparison to the only other options from Airfix or Matchbox, Hasegawa.
I do use too the same figures from EL viejo Dragon, Revell and Preiser.

Wiking, you are an attentive observer. Thank you for the nice feedback. With your assessment of the REVELL-kits you are perfectly right. I still built it before the big wave of the improvement industry followed. That was the next step; but it also went without these parts, one could achieve really appealing results ootb.

The EVD-figures at that time was very impressing to me. Since i had already great respect, to the sculptor's as well as before the painting.

I think the Revell building kits are still great today and I like to use them. Today there are so many conversion kits and upgrades (etch parts / resin) for these (old) Revell vehicles available. So that we can realize almost all types and variants of these tanks. This is really great!

Even if the EVD figures are already a little older, I still love and use them today. So many detail. Greatly modeled faces. Always an eye-catcher!

Fantastic are also the black and white pictures. How did you do this??? Scratches, water stains, etc .... I think I still have a lot to learn.
