Huzaren nr 6 Waterloo

Posted by paul haring on 15 Dec 2016, 09:51

At this moment I'm working on a couple of figs about Huzaren nr 6 Dutch army at Waterloo
I used Revell Mounted guard Chasseurs for horses and uniform. The trumpeter is finished now.
Revell has a nasty kind of plastic, it's so soft you can hardly remove any flash.
In the coming weeks I will paint more of these figures.

Painting is done in Citadel acrylics and Humbrol

Saddlecloth is converted from the Chasseur, by cutting of the rear part and correcting it with some Magic Sculp

Hello Paul,

thanks for the first picture.

A good conversion - and painting, too...

Greetings
Thomas

I build both 20mm and 54 mm. The little ones are mostly used in small dioramas .

Looks great Paul!

Remove flash: First add a basecoat and then remove the mouldlines and flash ;-)
