Absolutely fantastic paintimg skills on display. The unit composition seems a bit eclectic and a French flag is the old style but overall a magnificent composition, well done again.

Okay, I recognize many of the figures, but for some reason mine look a bit different. Very nice to see them like this!!!

I know what Gunnar, means about recognition of figures painted.
It`s a shame the 95th Rifles are a bit blurred ,but I`m sure they like the rest on display are ace cool painted. I Love all the horses. Now that is truly painting style.

I paint Italeri Scots Greys, and they end up looking like they are riding Mice. :-D

 "Perhaps paint up some Mice BB,they might turn out to look like Horses."

Thank you for sharing this.

I could spend far too long looking at these pics. So many familiar figures painted to a wonderful standard. I like your horses a lot. Those dappled greys are great and the Esci Scots Greys have never looked so good.

Wonderful work, Luis. Painting of the figures very clear and detailed (I love his style). The composition maybe a bit chaotic, but very inspiring to flee from boring formations. His work shows that with a high quality paint can mix different brands of figures and make a realistic composition.
Welcome hobbymate.

It's really nice, but...why are the wheels on the cannon the other way around? :/

Dear Luis,

My compliments to your work. After seeing so many other Waterloo diorama's before, this work of yours is incredibly good. I can't believe my eyes! How can somebody paint so well, so exact? After having a third look at these pics its still difficult to believe its really the same small Esci figs we all have at home somewhere. :notworthy: :notworthy: :notworthy: :notworthy: :notworthy:

Not in line with the replies of some other members, I do like your compositions very much. At a later stage in this battle, I believe in chaos, not in formations.
Your ground and vegetation looks very good too.

The focus range of your camera is incredible too. Well done.

And what you understood very well is it makes no point to post horizontal proportioned pictures as Benno's Figures Froum. Only when we post vertical pictures this website allows them to appear in full size. :yeah:

A question about the light: halve of the pics are yellow, the other halve white light. Is that on purpose? The yellow looks like you used the wrong white balance in your camera or you did no post-correction in the computer.
The white light shows the red uniforms as pink, which is great and probably realistic too because it looks like worn out, faded red. But its hard to understand what are the true colors you used.

And yes, thats what I did not understand too: Zirrian is right about the wheels of the French cannon I think.

Thank you so much for the comments.
The only thing that is out place is the capture of the eagle for the scots greys.
Is a mistake of mine to mount the wheels of the french cannon .( very observant )
Referring to the light of the photos is how they came out when i realized in 2007.

Wonderful! Can 't believe my eyes... Nice to see those Old Airfix, ESCI, Revell minis... I love your style (and I particularly appreciate the dark blue of the french uniforms).

Wow, this is really impressive! Can't stop watching it!

Sorry to say but I found a historical error in your diorama. Those British Hussars were gone at the beginning of the battle. They were in Brussels at that time of the battle! ;-)
