If this had been available already in 2010, when I did my Colonia Ulpia Traiana harbor diorama, I surely would have bought this instead of having to do my own scratch built construction.

Yes, it is something definitely useful that can be used in many sceneries and different periods!
And despite is not something particularly difficult to do scratchbuilt, apart from some smaller parts perhaps... however even if so simple, it take time to make an accurate model and eventually, especially if we need more than one, perhaps for someone could be more convenient to get a crane already done just to be assembled!
That's why I spent some more time making the molds to cast resin copies.
