Oronegrean Infantry - el ejército segundo

Posted by Gowan on 24 Jan 2017, 04:28

Hello everyone! My latest ship is.... not a ship... there must be something terribly wrong! Fear not for this is not a sign of madness (we are well past that stage anyway  ). Today I show to you infantry of el ejército segundo (2nd Army) of the Oronegrean armed forces. These figures cover a long period of time but I will mostly be using them for the 18th century. There is more information and pictures on these figures on my blog so feel free to have a look (and comment) there too! ;-)

I hope you like them. Incidentally I will be celebrating 5 years of Oronegro in the coming days! So expect to see some posts for the celebration!

Not marines either  , although as primarily a defence force these soldiers would be employed on the waterways to defend riverside settlements should they come under attack by native tribes. (Marines would also be used in this role but less often as minor incidents wouldn't warrant their involvement.)

On the other hand I am working on a gunboat, but I have some figures to paint up first because otherwise I will have a lot of ships but no one to crew them. ;-)

I think he survived by not being there! :-D But I didn't know he went to New Zealand, I thought he stayed in Texas. You always learn something new! :-D
