I have a sprue of this set and I don't think I have ever seen so much flash in a set! Painting one of the figures for Jan's parade and plan to paint some for a little WildWest-something. The rest? Well, with that much extra plastic they will probably go to the eternal sleep. Great work you have done on yours!

The older Red Box figure lake quality in my opinion.
I paint some of the Gangster set. They are on the softer side.

You have done the best with this set.

It is pretty cool to see one of our forum members create something half-way decent with an otherwise poor set, as Tom71 has done here. Good job!

I've always wanted to see one of RedBox's Boxer rebellion sets tackled and painted well - and now I have! I think you have inspired more to investigate them (if they don't read the other replies, that is!).
