bout history:
Beaufort Castle - a castle built by the Crusaders in a strategic position on the Litani River. After the crusaders were expelled from the holy land, the castle stood under the command of the Saracens. As castles no longer had any weight, they fell more and more. It was again important for the PLO as an observation point against Israel. In 1982, it was one of the first and most important objectives of the Israelis. The castle was taken by an IDF elite unit and from then on served as the advanced base of the IDF.
It was the last bastion that was abandoned in the year 2000 when IDF was withdrawn from southern Lebanon.
I always liked to look at the modern stronghold systems in the immediate neighborhood with the very old stronghold systems.
The M113 is from Trumpeter. The Nagmachon is a Resin model from Model Minature (Cromwell). The figures are from different manufacturers.

Thank you for the short history.
Very very nice build.
The castle section the ground the figure and the vehicle. Each is nicely done.
As the concrete for the roadblock.
Only that there is no figure or an animal inside the castle wall, behind the vehicle as an eye catcher there is sad.
I like also the consistence color overall the placing of the vehicle and the sections of the castle. Each is in a good balance. As the presentation.

I had to look several times to convince myself that that first shot was a picture of your dio and not a stock photo you based your dio on. Fabulous effect, even the building in the background fits the scene perfectly.

In my eyes a diorama with israeli vehicles and their placement in a quite typical environment convey a very special flair. The vehicles always look somewhat futuristic in their respective times, i think. You have confirmed this for me with your work in a wonderful way.
