This brings back memories of a super film and brilliant music to boot.

In my opinion a lovely composition, with good photography and what about poor old Major Munroe?

It is a pity that you have not used a background as the motor car was some way off as an invention at that time.

Seriously, it is very easy with a bit of wallpaper and paint to make up sky effects that will do your work proud.

There is a section on skylines that I did on the forum which I hope will be of use.

Well done, I can hear the opening strains as I write.

Best wishes,

Chris

Very nice! And good of you to make such a nice diorama so they could make the movie! Unfortunately it looks like the British are on a dead end road with a big wall at the end. That is NOT a good place to make a stand! Other than that I agree with Chris, but it is very nice to see your background to and visit your place in this world a little!

I know that scene and you did great job Igor. I have 2 remarks if I may: Green color (grass and trees) is a bit unnatural for my taste. Second, I think that distance between each figure is almost the same. I would expect that some figures are closer or more distant to each other in that kind of situation (more random and irregular).

Like it a lot! I have been watching the movie on Friday evening and the scene is fresh to my mind! Also great to see French infantry in red coats! :-D

@Dali: now he has room to put more figures on it! ;-)

Nice painted figure for both side of the conflict. :-D
I like your conversion of the Cäsar WWII partisan girl.
As the car at the back in some pic.
Do you want to do something in the area behind the trees? There is so much free space for figure and action.

Love the Painting,Great in every detail & Epic Diorama Pictures

The classic story book tale was based on historical fact ,the massacre did take place,a betrayal by the Indians against the honor of the French. Colonel Munro, and other survivors escaped and actually made it to Fort Edward. Scholars now agree that 170 men ,women and children were killed. Confirmed by a mass grave below the heights of Fort William Henry.

As a member of this Forum, one can view a much better enhenced picture display on the Full Editor section. Large Diorama`s like this one certainly are worthy of a place on it,and a second look. BB

GREAT STUFF! I especially like Miss Cora Munrow and her sister fleeing ! The rest of the positive things have already mentioned, so ALL I CAN SAY IS I AGREE with my fellow collectors. But my question is -> where are all 3 (2 1/2) Mohicans ;-)
Maybe a little tips for further British in America: As there are no real ones that perfectly wear the correct uniform for the French and Indian War in 1/72 , you might used Revell Prussians as British in the next diorama to which I am already looking forward to!

... And ask the maker of all live not to speed to welcome you at the fires of the Mohican people
s in order to see many more works of you.

Thanks my friend for all said, the answer about the Mohicans you can find on picture 9 and 21, they are in the middle of the scene, trying to help sisters Munro, like in the film, cheers
