Your painting is excellent.
Hat made a little mistake (not dramatic)... the firing man is not true...
In fact the work of the man of the right is open the gun to eject.
But very excellent news... I hope they will produce also french 1940 in figth...

Hmm...these films seem to show the guy on the right both operating the breech AND pulling the firing lanyard on a French "75"





However I know on other guns, like the British 4.5 inch howitzer, the trigger was on the left of the breech and operated by the gun layer (would be interested to know about the Russian Putilov M1902 if anyone has that info)

Great painting and glad to see the crew actually interacting with the gun rather than just all generic "shell carriers" like so many sets.

Hello and congratulations for your fantastic work. Can I ask you a question ? Would you agree to give me your "secrets" of paintings? I am currently doing a 1940 French army and I am looking for painting and technical advice.
Which colors (base, shade, enlightenment) do you use for uniforms, bags, helmets, shoes and especially leathers (which you do very well!).
