Thanks so much, my friends. It, really, was a pain to do the resin water. I originally aimed at making the whole water part visible such that you could see the ocean floor. I actually modeled and painted the ocean floor with flotsam, stones and such:
However, when I attempted to do three pours with increasingly lighter tints of the turquoise, somehow I managed to put too little hardener into the second pour, so when I tried to remove the barriers, it hadn't really hardened - after more than 50 hours. Consequently, it couldn't be sanded and there were a number of cuts and rips in the resin that were really ugly.
So, I decided to put plastic sheet up to the third layer, which now gives the impression that the water is really deep
Not what I was aiming for in the beginning, but I like it, nonetheless.
