Strelets Highlanders - Standing at Ease

Posted by Konrad on 13 Feb 2018, 19:23

Here another great set of the highlanders.
Not so easy to paint.
I admire Sascha (Zed1)for the quality
he has achieved with these figs.

Hope you enjoy!

Great to see I'm not the only one who battled with these figures. ;-)
Plus: you have painted more of them in a shorter time. :xd:
But what really surprises me is that you've replaced the flag. I thought I would rather ruin the flagpole if I try to do so.

But very easy to look at. Splendid painting, you've handled the tartan nicely and I like the definition in the bonnet feathers. That pioneer looks awesome.

Do you want a button counter suggestion? No problem if you don't they look great as they are.

These and Zeds Scottish are lovely.

I am about to start painting mine but can guarantee they will not be as good unfortunately.

Best wishes,

Chris
