A few people of Antiquity

Posted by ToneTW on 30 Apr 2018, 20:12

I've been working on a few more Generals and other characters, with a few head swaps. Finishing the odd figure here and there has been nice but I need to get back to the rank and file troops and the swarms of skirmishers. Below is the list of recent characters finished...

Punic General:

Hannibal:

Hannibal's body/Macedonian Officer's Head:

And finally the miniature formerly known as Numidian Prince's Body with Numidian Pauper's head:

Thank you guys you are very kind!

I must say for the most part my technique very simple; by blocking the colours and giving the figure a brown wash sometimes followed by highlight in the original colour. For the Numidian's skin for example, it was Tallarn flesh, washed with Delvan Mud, followed by slight highlight of the cheek bones, forehead and chin with Elf flesh.
