HaT Swedish Cavalry (Hussars and Horse Guards)

Posted by Marvin on 29 May 2018, 20:04

Hello BFF friends! :-D

I've been busy working on two of the five regiments in Hat's Napoleonic Swedish Cavalry box - the Morner Hussars and the King's Horse Guards.

First up - The King's Horse Guards:

If these are not on HäT's website yet, they ought to be.

Very pleased they meet with all your approval! All credit to HaT for producing this set in 1.72, I say.

I think your painted Swedes look better than mine, Gunnar! ;-)

Great painted figures.
All color look like I would expect for this time. It is all in the same level. Also the yellow is not too bright.

Great stuff, Marvin!

The swedes are also on my painting list, It's nice to have some reference of uniform colors for my own models.

Okay, next question: why does the Mörner Hussar have a red dot right on his forehead? Seems like a pretty good aiming spot for enemy marksmen...
