This mini diorama was made from:

- A modified Airfix 1/76 Assault Gun (Sturmgeschütz III Ausf.G)
- Three Matchbox 1/76 WW2 British Infantrymen
- A homemade base

Thanks for looking!

A really great diorama! :yeah: The StuG III is an eye-catcher! Great camouflage, boxes, etc. on the engine cover, damaged armor and more. Fantastic!

Very nice paint and modeling in this dio. Your vivid colors and competent photography make the work pop right off the screen.

I have a question--what is the object near the feet of the soldiers? It looks almost like an empty sandbag. If it's meant to depict a non-specific bit of debris, it works. But looking at it got me curious.

Excellent work. I am amazed at what you have done to the humble old Airfix Stug 111.

I would have sworn it was a different manufactuer.

Best wishes,

Chris

As M C Dodson say, I was thinking at first too: " Hmm? from what brand is this Stug made"?
Arfix! Very very well done! You put a lot of bits and time in it.
And that these three soldier take protection behind is well made with the choosen pose of the figures. :yeah:

I surmise that STUG is suffering from a common malady during the late war period for the Germans--sub-par infantry support!

Thanks for the question, Bluefalchion. The object is ment to be curtains, blown out of the window of a destroyed house, and now lying on the street between the broken parts of the window frame.

Agreed, you did wonders with the old Airfix StuG. And it's been a long time since I have seen those Matchbox Brits in action!
