1/72 wss trooper

The box says that these are german elite troops but based on the box-art, I think they are wss troopers.
Anyway, the kit is from zvezda and as other products of 'art of tactics' series were good, this kit was good too. Especially the face sculpture was good.
I used vallejo's waffen-SS camouflage paint set, and the name of the pattern is "Plane tree Spring."
This time, I used new technic using 'glaze medium' by vallejo. I put the paint (mixed with: basic skin tone, burnt red, violet red) ,glaze medium, and thinner to 1:1:1. Then I brushed that on the face.

Excellent painting again, you achieve very good results imho.

Indeed, the Zvezda AoT range is a great source of beautiful figures.
Sadly, PSR refused to portray this fruitful range in an adequate & familiar manner, thus their audience cannot recognise the great potential of the many sets it includes.

PSR is focused on full sets of plastic figures in 20mm, 1:76 and 1:72 scale. And the PSR site author or authors spent years gushing over pretty much everything Zvezda produced. But the choice was made not to do full reviews of a box containing 4-5 figures.

I hope the re-release of some Zvezda full boxes in 2019 is a presage that they may produce more like that in the years to come.
