Happy nappie time

I got far this competition too! :-D Huge thanks to those who voted on this little scene. :-D Great competition with many very nice entries as usual! And I had fun all the way! Figures are Italeri. Yes, I know that the cuirassiers are ESCI, but I didn't want to dig up my old figures and repaint them so these are from an Italeri-box. :-D And I changed the horses! Since Italeri's dragoon-horses are bigger and more muscular than the old ESCI-horses I made a little swap. I don't think the figures notice.

Great scene Gunnar. Splendidly painted Napoleonic cavalry, in beautiful uniforms, charging into battle. What could be better? I thought the horses looked really good with the blazes and socks too. :yeah:

I voted for this one in the first round. And in the second round I thought your entry was involved in a really excellent duel... Against my entry. :-D Congratulations on a deserved win in that one, I hope you enjoyed it as much as I did.

Good idea to change the horses. They have no sheepskin cover over the saddle, but we do not want to count rivets. Always nice to see you painting Nappies.

Huge thanks for the comments! It was as usual great fun in the competition! The sheep were on television with Shaun so the were occupied elsewhere. Blue and yellow uniforms had been better, but Nappie wouldn't allow it. Ålla is on vacation in the Bahamas with her family. I don't know if she will return to the cold of Sweden for a while. Huge thanks for the votes and now it's off to other stuff! :-D
