Vienna 1683 - Fighting in the suburbs

Hello!

Just finished part 7 of my Vienna 1683-series and I don't want to hide it from you. This time the fighting in the demolished suburbs of Vienna (either by the Imperial defenders or by the Ottomans) was my topic. Urban combat was - and is still - a vicious encounter, with limited space and visibility, enemies from all possible directions, command problems and so on. Every army tried to avoid it, but to leave enemy troops in the back is not an option.

This is the first time a tried house ruins and I am quite satisfied with the result. I used plaster, wood, paper, colours and toner from the printer.

Beautifully painted figures and plenty of realistic action as usual. But the ruined building here looks really excellent! And the background with the burning building works really well.
