Chasseurs à cheval de la ligne

Posted by Mr. Andrea on 09 Mar 2019, 20:17

Another cavalry squadron for my French nappy army is completed. But so far no sign of Prussians to stomp. Boring!

Sensational stuff. You have brought these old Hat chaps to life.

Personally I like large units but the skill here is undeniable.

Best wishes,

Chris

These chasseurs are top notch. I also like the small conversions you made on the figs. The painting on the horses might be simple - as you told me - but it is really great. Unfortunate the Prussian Dragoons have to ride them down...

Good afternoon, great unit indeed.
I painted some for my son too but I removed the muskets of the officer and the trumpet.
When do we see the famous battle with the Prussian!
Have a great weekend.

I have been looking at this post and at your line infantry in the other post over and over again, but I just can't decide which one I like more: They are both excellent!

Dear Mr. Andrea:

You and Marvin paint horses so well, in your own ways, that sometimes I think the both of you were horses in a past life. They are that good.

I like these a lot, the figures and horses are full of life.

Excellent painting, very nice basing, and you've brought them together into a very convincing cavalry charge.

I'm always surprised how great early HaT figures can look when they are painted superbly.

Horses in a a past life? Neigh! Err, I mean, nay... ;-)

Thanks Bluefalchion. I'm very chuffed to be named as a horse painter with Mr Andrea. :-D

I heard a rumour that it will take place at FIGZ this year!

Great painted cavalry unit Andrea! Pity I can't see them live this year!

And this time the battle will not be in Belgium! We had that to often! :xd:
