Two boxes of Hat Ox Wagons completed to replace some old Atlantic wagons I have used with my Zulus for too many years. The problem is the shortage of Oxen in the kits so I will have to rework some of the old oxen to use with the other wagons.


Although I'm using four oxen for a team in reality it would be twelve or more


By luck the barricades I use with the wagons to make a camp slide easily inside the wagons so I didn't need to add stowage, Here's the laager deployed.

On PSR there was a comment that the canopy doesn't really fit. What is your experience with it?

It doesn't fit well, but I welded it on in the correct place.

Very nice indeed. It is a pity that Hat have not provided sufficient oxen to realistically pull the wagons especially after making the correct effort for their French limbers.

very nice. The dual purpose barricade/stowage pieces are a neat idea.

Good tip for the canopy.

Someone suggested HaT should make a suplementary set with extra oxen, they seemed to think it was a good idea.
