Chasseurs à Cheval de la Garde Impériale

Dear Forumers,

Many of you have posted excellent Chasseurs de la Garde à Cheval. I would also like to add my modest contribution to such a subject. In spite of being produced by Revell long time ago, this set, to me, is still valid as it is evidentrly the result of a deep and accurate reserach. I repainted them several times, before obtaining and acceptable result. The most difficult part to paint was, obviously, the dolman. Here, I've depicted the Chasseurs clashing with a group of Platov's Cossaks.

Dear Mabo,
Cossacks are known to have been very brave and, as such, did not hesitate to attack any opponents even if, as in the case of the Chasseurs, they had very little chance to succeed. It is famous the episode, after the battle of Maloyaroslavets, when two squadrons of Cossaks charged straight to Napoleon himself, defended by his Guard's Chasseurs.
