Thanks for that, Fred. I now know that I definitely built a vivandière's cart. That was a bit of Napoleonic history I didn't know so now it would be nice to find a female figure to add to the stand!
According to Wikipedia they were even known to provide food and drink even while troops were under fire - at no extra charge!
