Great model build, a lot of detail giving it life.
What I find extra in this model is the topic itself. For once designers developed these Hobart’s Funnies to spare lives in an efficient way, and they did not fear any ridicule. That was rare in those days
How much did they find use? Only on Normandy beaches or also later? I got interested in their history and will try to look that up

Nothing! They are standing on a shelf, to be looked at now and then. My joy is in the modelling.

The Sherman Crab was one of the more succesful Hobarts Funnies designs. It was used throughout the whole campaign in Nortwestern Europe by the British, especially in Netherlands, also on the Italian front and in smaller amounts also by the Americans in the Pacific.

I really enjoyed following the WIP but the finished article is just outstanding and the dio pics are wonderful!

Track, wheel, suspension are the indicators for Airfix.
And beside the size it would be hard to know the maker of the Sherman tank.

Look great, a superb work especial for such an old mold.
And on top a rarely well done Sherman variant.
