Israel Defence Forces (IDF) M109 field maintenance

Posted by praga on 04 Sep 2019, 09:23

My latest Dio.
The M109 is from the brand Riich but with the conversion kit from ModelTrans and Motor from BlackDog.
The Namera, recovery vehicle on Merkava base, is a resin kit from Model Miniature.
The Hummer is from Dragon .
Regards, Jens Hilgraf

Wow, great work and really nice photography. The merging with the background shots was pretty seamless!

If the engine is on too high temperature:
1. Stop driving.
2. Switch off the engine. Push the red "off" button.
3. Open the hatches over the engine for fresh air.
Say the original instruction manual.

And we get this:

hot Motor !
a) shop .
A) leave amreord vehicle.
b) kill powder red " off"
D) Take coool wind Ice .cream is not in usa.
e) not work, Please scream jour dealer : oo1 XXXX

I only miss the hand tools around the engine. Not that it is very realistic. But suggest always a lot of action to the engine.

Nice scene, models and groundwork.
:yeah:

i had exactly the same reaction. Hard to believe you can achieve such realism in 1:72. Brilliant

I can only agree! I though it was a "real" scene...

Once again I had to look twice at the first pictures to be sure they weren't stock photos of real vehicles. The models sit perfectly into the landscape and background.
