These are all so very nice. I’ve enjoyed seeing so much of your painting style - it’s so effective.
And I love the stocky French ensign. Where is he from?

Stunning stuff, especially with these old guys.

The standard bearer is Airfix Bill.

Best wishes,

Chris

These are all magnificent but the standouts for me are the Mamelukes and the scene with the engineers building the revetments which is awesome!

The Prussian Dragoons are interesting, it looks like you've mixed the Italeri giants with HaT figures. They go together much better than I thought they would. The Airfix standard bearer looks great, that set can still give good service after all these years.

After I wrote that I was wondering if he was Airfix! It's classic. I did have that guy but gave them all away about a year ago to have their shakos absconded by a friend for his Russians. The other figure, which I did keep from that set and is an all time favourite, is the guy carrying his wounded comrade off the field. I bought the set in 1973 on a trip to England - so long ago!

I have to ask; are these painted using oils? Your colors are so rich and your details so sharp and precise, extremely high standard of work - most impressive! Do you have any tutorial posted on how you do your painting? Wonderful figures - the lot of them.
