It is nice to see that your painting skills live up to your sculpting skills. On another note, any chance of more modern french figures from you?

Really nice figures indeed.

May I suggest a number ink wash to bring out the facial details?

Best wishes,

Chris

Good Morning.

Mr Crynns got me into this and it is initially tricky.

Less is more as they say.

A light inking brings out the details in the mould.

Do not use a lot and preferably watch out for eye sockets filling up. I flick it out of them.

I use Game wash 73.203 Lavado Sombra , umber wash.

I like dirty soldiers, so filthy hands etc look good to my way of thinking.

Practise will make perfect.

Best wishes,

Chris

Now the 90 soldiers of my compagny... 9 groups of 10 men, (1 man is missing, in one group, I will create him soon).
For me the best french figures in 1/72... I used some of my production in white metal, and some of conversion of caesar and pegasus.
