Macedonian Brazen Shields.

My first attempt at painting Ancients figures, Macedonian Brazen Shields. I have used Zvezda Macedonian Phalanx figures with a rank of Newline Designs figures so that I could get the sarissa at the right angle to go over the first two ranks.

They are beautiful, how did you make the sarissas?

I used North Star Wire Spears

Same width as the plastic ones that come with the figures so that they can fit into the hand slots.
