Thanks for your kind words, Chris. I've been looking forward to your Antietam (as I do all your creations). I did an Antietam game a few years ago, but could only fit the upper part of the battlefield on my table (despite having found a nice model of the Lutheran church in Sharpsburg, that I didn't get to use). Unfortunately, I didn't take any pictures that I can share. I did the sunken roads for Antietam the same way I did Telegraph Road for Fredericksburg. The hard part -- that I know you've been working on -- was the cornfields. I ended up just using squares of painted Astroturf, the same size as my game bases, to compose the fields, so units could "move through" them. It looked OK and worked for the game, but I'm looking forward to the more realistic fields you'll undoubtedly produce.
