Pirates of the Caribbean: skirmish on the dock

Posted by PhilC on 03 May 2020, 12:14

Hi, dear fellow painters, I hope you're all well in these days.

Let me show you my last painted minis, some crewmen of the Flying Dutchman and sailors to fight against.

The cursed pirates are minis by Mars:

Among them is Hadras, a guy whose head is inside a shell:

The sailors come from Hät miniset #8325 British Marines and Fighting Sailors:

Hope you like them, as ugly as they are :)

Hey Phil,
very unusual "Orc`s" with her rusty weapons are fighting against the sailors.

Painting of Hadras I like very much. Patched with small shells.
Look like just arrived direct from the bottom of the sea.
Such a guy will fit in my Sci-Fi Dio very well as a bounty hunter.

Great paintjob on these atypical figures from Mars, PhilC.

Next time you must include among them Jack Sparrow himself. ;-)

Best regards.

Santi.

Thank you very much!
I wasn't very happy with the colors of the sea, so I changed it to turquoise (the action means to take place in the Caribbean sea, after all) on every picture, here you are one as a sampler:

Good evening Ladies and Gentlemen! Come here and have a look at some new recruits for the Flying Dutchman.

Image

The two new crewmen are:

1. Old Haddy: stocking cap, covered with mussels, uses knuckledusters as weapons.

Image

2. Penrod: 20% human, 80% lobster!! His left arm has become a claw.

Image

Comparison with a REAL lobster:

What do you think of them ? Are they good enough for the service  ?

Never paid much attention to these figures before but you've got them looking very cool.

Splendid paintwork! The dock's a nice model too.
