WOW!

This looked great in the WIP but the finished scene is really something special. Celts are always good but these Celts are extraordinary.

I really like the orange and black, evening sun through the trees background shot; that gives a really good atmosphere.

Egbert, without figures, only with the landscape, the incomplete diorama was superb . Now is simply...perfect. :notworthy:  :notworthy:  :notworthy:

It's always a pleasure for the retine and the neurones to enjoy every detail of your wonderful projects.

My very best congratulations.

There's very little I can add because I'd just be echoing everyone else, it's all fantastic.

Love the faded reds on the shields - red with brown ink wash over?

Tremendous effort to great effect. I love it when every piece gets full attention and the whole paints a story and a very creative story at that. Superb work Egbert.

Hi Egbert.

The finished article is stunning.

Great painting, composition, groundwork and execution.

I feel sorry for the poor Roman.

Well done.

Agree with Pascal! Just hop he doesn't catch a cold standing in the water like that! And shampoo is a very bad idea! The bubbles would give him off!

Superb diorama !! Where the vegetation as well as the gestures of the figurines bring the scene incredibly alive. Congratulations!

Hello Egbert,

your diorama is most impressive. I like just about everything, figures with conversions, painting, the setting, the landscaping, the subject.
Beautiful contribution

Greetings
Michael
