A King

Hello,

my small contribution. A King in his court receiving a visit to his daughter. Always a touchy moment.
Old and well known figures by our most admired Alex

PS I realized that I can't turn the pictures on my new image sharing site. Now I have no time to redo everything. Sorry. I promise to do a better job next time.

Was this in the latest competition? Like it a lot! Have the same set, just painted my king a bit younger. Kamar has also done a good king with retinue, but I haven't bought him yet. Anyhow, good work on a wonderful set!

Lovely figures and a good idea for a tapestry in the background.

I love the colourful lute player, the hobby horseing jester and, of course the falconer, but the best thing is the grave expression on the Kings face.
